Ian is a retired public servant with experience in policy coordination and synthesis, covering personnel, education and training and equipment acquisition issues. With his wife Marie, he was one of the first of Galilee’s volunteer carers and they cared for 12 children or young people on short or long term placements over many years.  Ian has been a member of Galiee’s Board of Directors since he and Marie retired from their voluntary caring roles in 2000.
